Ingredient Glossary
Creatine monohydrate — the single most researched form of creatine in sports nutrition. Works by topping off phosphocreatine stores in muscle tissue, which the body uses to regenerate ATP during short, high-effort bursts (heavy sets, sprints, jumps). The clinical dose used in most published research is 5g/day.
cGMP-compliant facility — "current Good Manufacturing Practice." A federal manufacturing standard (not a marketing sticker) that governs how a facility operates — equipment cleanliness, ingredient testing, batch recordkeeping — start to finish. All CoreForge products are made in a cGMP-compliant US facility.
Fava Bean Protein Isolate + YESTEIN™ Fermented Nutritional Yeast Protein — the two-source blend behind CoreForge Plant Protein. Fava alone and yeast protein alone each fall short on certain essential amino acids; combined, they cover all nine, which is why the blend qualifies as a complete protein.
Natural caffeine (green tea) — caffeine sourced from green tea extract, typically paired with L-theanine (also naturally present in tea). The pairing is associated with steadier, less jittery energy than caffeine alone.
L-theanine — an amino acid found in tea leaves that promotes alpha brain wave activity (a relaxed-but-alert state). Doesn't cancel caffeine's stimulant effect — it smooths it.
Electrolytes (sodium, potassium, magnesium) — minerals lost through sweat during training. Creatine Hydration includes 1,000mg sodium, 200mg potassium, and 60mg magnesium per scoop alongside the creatine dose.
Clinical dose — the amount of an ingredient shown to be effective in the majority of published research on that ingredient, as opposed to a diluted or "proprietary blend" amount that hides the real quantity.
